We respect your privacy. This page explains the website technologies used by The Travel Cafe, including hCaptcha, Web3Forms and Cloudflare Web Analytics. Our on-screen cookie notice is informational, not a request for consent.
We use hCaptcha on our Plan My Trip enquiry form to help prevent spam, bots, fraud and automated submissions. hCaptcha can load and contact its servers as soon as the enquiry page opens, before you interact with the verification checkbox. It may process technical information about your device, browser, IP address, requests and verification interactions, and may use or receive cookies or similar identifiers for security and service operation. In a pre-launch test, cookies named hmt_id and cf1b were sent with an hCaptcha request. This observation does not establish when they were created or whether all such storage is consent-exempt. Our form uses Web3Forms to process and deliver enquiries. A cookie apparently related to Web3Forms attribution was observed on the test website during pre-launch inspection. We have not yet verified whether this cookie is necessary for the form's operation. Form and security services may operate before you submit an enquiry.
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate page visits, broad visitor geography and website performance. Cloudflare Web Analytics is designed to operate without analytics cookies or persistent visitor identifiers. Cloudflare automatically injects its analytics script on the website, including for EU visitors. We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel or advertising trackers.
Our website displays a short informational notice about these technologies. Selecting “Understood” acknowledges the notice and stores that acknowledgement in your browser's local storage so it does not repeatedly appear. It does not constitute consent to optional tracking and does not switch hCaptcha, Web3Forms or Cloudflare Web Analytics on or off. You can read this policy at any time, and you can remove the stored acknowledgement using your browser's site-data controls.
Some cookies or browser storage may be exempt from prior consent where strictly necessary for a service or security function; others may require consent depending on their purpose and applicable law. We do not claim that all third-party cookies are automatically exempt. We will review the observed Web3Forms attribution storage and the deployment's browser behaviour before launch and adjust the implementation if required.
Cloudflare and other website infrastructure providers may process technical requests to deliver and protect the website. Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled, including possible international processing and how to contact us.
